ACTIVITY ZONE

My Ray Diagram

1. Set the apparatus as shown in the diagram.

2. Switch the torch on.

3. Shine the torch through the slit onto the mirror. Observe the ray of light that hits the mirror.

4. Tell another friend to trace the ray of light on the A4 paper.

5. Draw a line on the A4 paper to represent the mirror.

6. Label your drawing:

     - light source

     - ray from light source

     - reflected ray

     - mirror

7. Repeat step 3 to 5 by changing the angle of the light source.
